FRAGRANCE STORY

Fourteen Carrots begins in the earth. Not the idea of earth as an accord, but the real thing. Cool soil clinging to roots, the damp dark where sweetness is born quietly. Carrot absolute has this rare double nature. It is vegetal and tender, but also velvety, almost fruity, with a soft, rooty warmth that feels like skin after sun. In this fragrance it is the core, the hidden sweetness that lives below the surface.

Plum folds into the carrot like light seeping down through leaves. It brings a dark juiciness, ripe and shadowed, not bright, more the color of late afternoon than midday. The plum makes the carrot feel more golden, more sensual. It is the way a buried root can taste of summer even while it grows in darkness.

Then oud arrives, deep and steady, a resinous hush. It does not overpower. It grounds. It gives the blend a slow pulse, a quiet gravity that feels ancient. With oud, the carrot absolute becomes less a note and more a presence, something you can lean into. Earth becomes body. Sweetness becomes depth.

Carrots are treasures that hide in plain sight. Their richest life happens underground, unseen, patiently gathering color and nourishment. Fourteen Carrots takes that as its metaphor. Wearing it is like reaching beneath your own surface, feeling for what is true but unspoken, what has been growing without display. The fragrance invites a kind of inward harvest. You start with the root, you find the sweetness that was there all along, and you bring it into the light.

Fourteen Carrots is a sensual, grounding elixir. A perfume of buried gold and quiet revelation. Earthy, plum dark, softly animal, it reminds you that the most beautiful parts of you may be the ones still hidden, waiting, alive in the dark.

HOW TO WEAR

Our fragrances are gender-neutral and made for everyone.

APPLICATION: We use plant-based natural ingredients, which means our scents are light and sheer. To increase staying power, you’ll want to apply the fragrance periodically throughout the day.

LAYERING: We also encourage you to layer two to three Heretic fragrances not only to increase the overall intensity but to help you create your next signature scent. Choose heavy and lighter blends to layer together, spraying or dabbing the stronger scent first. View the “Layer With” section above for our perfumer’s recommendations.
